Deloitte Launches Managed Threat Service and Managed Digital Identity Service
Deloitte has launched its Managed Threat and Managed Digital Identity Services aimed at empowering enterprises to strengthen their cybersecurity posture.
“To stay ahead of emerging cyber threats, there is a need to deploy cyber risk solutions in an accelerated manner and to embed these solutions across the organization,” said Adnan Amjad, partner, Deloitte & Touche LLP. “Our tailored Managed Threat and Digital Identity Services are designed to help our clients to better address digital transformation trends like the cloud and Internet of Things at a much faster pace while reducing cyber risk for their most valuable assets across the enterprise.”
The new managed digital identity service is designed to help reduce the barriers of moving to the cloud and limit the need for parallel identity solutions, while allowing organizations to integrate disparate systems. With solutions that support both modern API-based and legacy applications and business processes, efficiencies can be created to enable end-users to instead focus on security priorities.
Deloitte’s Managed Threat Services are designed to help organizations identify significant threats requiring immediate attention by expanding the aperture of context surrounding an anomaly for better threat detection. The service deploys cyber-hunting, orchestration and remediation, risk analytics, and behavior analytics to develop hypotheses based on applied threat intelligence and patterns detected from within an environment.
As the threat landscape becomes more complex, customers of all sizes will need higher levels of defense. This, in turn, provides major business opportunities for partners.
Veeam and Its Partners to Give Away $200 Million in Cloud Backup and DRaaS Services
Veeam Software of Baar, Switzerland, today has rolled out a new initiative to give away up to $200 million through an exclusive cloud services program. Effective immediately, every customer using Veeam for on-premises backup and recovery is now eligible for up to $1,000 in free cloud backup and Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) from Veeam and its partners.
“Organizations across the globe are increasingly adopting cloud platforms for IT and business solutions, and they need an Availability platform that is scalable, reliable, secure and adaptable enough to leverage multi-cloud infrastructures,” said Paul Mattes, Vice President of Veeam’s Global Cloud Group. “We, along with our partners, recognize this opportunity and are fully committing to major investments supporting our partners and end-users, and further delivering on our cloud vision and strategy.”
In addition to expanding the customer base, the program is also intended to help traditional resellers expand in the midst of a cloud-based services market shift.
The limited time offer is available for all Veeam Availability Suite, Veeam Backup & Replication and Veeam Backup Essentials end-user customers with active Veeam maintenance contracts.
The initiative can be instrumental in helping partners who are moving into this lucrative area to gain new customers, or to extend their positions with existing ones.
