Dialpad Inc., a San Francisco-based company focused on communication and collaboration, has rolled out a new meeting experience for the modern and hybrid workforce. New enhancements to Dialpad Meetings, combined with the technology partnership of Dialpad and Poly, are intended to offer high quality video and audio to support the future of business collaboration.
Dialpad Meetings is the company’s Unified Communications as a Service offering that brings together a suite of unified communications and collaboration products on one platform that leverages Artificial Intelligence. Enhancements include virtual backgrounds; improved screen sharing capabilities with direct audio integration during video playback; enhanced security; mobile browser compatibility; and “click-to-join” meeting access.
“The future of work is not restrained by employee or customer location, it’s borderless,” said Craig Walker, Chief Executive Officer at Dialpad. The Dialpad cloud platform, along with our new partnership with Poly, gives people the ability to work smarter together from anywhere on any device they choose, and adapt to how they like to work.”
Leveraging its partnership with Poly, customers can deploy, start, and join meetings using a plug-and-play interface. Dialpad Voice Intelligence (Vi) is a built-in AI engine offering real-time meeting transcriptions for all participants. Vi combines Dialpad’s automated speech recognition and natural language processing capabilities to provide real-time transcription, call coaching, talking points and call analytics.
Dialpad’s customer list includes Motorola Solutions, Netflix, T-Mobile, Twitter, Uber and WeWork.
The intended value proposition is to combine the strengths of both Dialpad and Poly to seamlessly connect companies through a single app. Security, hybrid work compatibility, and the overall user experience are said to be improved.
