New Blue Medora Rolls Out New Program to Attract VMware Partners

Blue Medora, a Michigan-based player in the enterprise management space, today announced the global launch of its new True Visibility Partner Program, aimed at helping resellers further leverage their VMware vSphere and vRealize Operations businesses.

“As enterprises continue to integrate cloud infrastructure into their virtualized environments, they require a clear view of performance and status of every device, solution and application in their IT stack,” said Chris Noordyke, vice president of Blue Medora worldwide sales. “The channel is at the frontline supporting these requests, but often lack easy-to-use management tools. By bringing the operational elements of the enterprise into sharp focus, the True Visibility Program enables our partners to target growth levels of up to 40 percent in vSphere and vRealize business.”

The program provides partners with sales and engineering resources plus a web portal that includes deal registration, sales support, 24/7 online quoting and various enablement tools.

Palo Alto Networks and Proofpoint Partner to Extend Threat Prevention

Palo Alto Networks and Proofpoint have announced a partnership aimed at defending joint customers from online attacks.

The alliance combines Proofpoint Targeted Attack Protection (TAP), Proofpoint SocialPatrol and Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Security Platform as a means of enhancing defense, and providing better intelligence into attempted attacks.

“Networks, cloud and endpoints are under attack by sophisticated and persistent attacks,” said Chad Kinzelberg, senior vice president of business and corporate development for Palo Alto Networks. “The integration with Proofpoint TAP and Proofpoint SocialPatrol aligns threat knowledge between the two companies in real time. This provides our joint customers with increased visibility and synchronized, automated protection across all those control points to effectively combat today’s advanced threats.”

The joint development also combines WildFire’s ability to analyze potentially malicious links with Proofpoint SocialPatrol’s ability to scan and, if necessary, remove malicious links throughout an organization’s social presence, including on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram.
