Nutanix and Intel Partner for Hyperconverged Infrastructure
Nutanix, an enterprise cloud vendor in San Jose, has announced that it is partnering with Intel Corporation to enable systems integrators and VARs to deliver Nutanix-qualified Intel Data Center Block hardware platforms under the company’s Technology Alliance Partner Program. Through this collaboration, IT leaders will be able to deploy and operate Nutanix’s enterprise cloud OS software running on Intel Data Center Block configure-to-order servers.
In addition to providing a faster time to market for emerging Intel-based technologies, VARs and SIs can incorporate specific services to increase their value-add, and support their customers through the project lifecycle, including design, implementation, scaling, and support.
“It is critical to us that customers have a frictionless path to deploy the ideal solution for their datacenter needs,” said Raja Mukhopadhyay, vice president of product management at Nutanix. “In the long term, SIs and VARs can help customers take advantage of the solution’s ease-of-use and scalability, which optimizes their applications’ performance so they can elevate their IT operations to be more strategic.”
This joint solution is available immediately in the Americas, with plans to extend to a worldwide program in the near future. The partnership is initially supported by Arrow and Tech Data.
