Qualys Introduces New Offering for Consultants and MSPs
Qualys, Inc., a Foster City-based provider of cloud-based security and compliance solutions, has rolled out “Qualys Consulting Edition,” which delivers the ability to perform multiple ongoing vulnerability assessment engagements from a single, centralized and self-updating platform. It allows partner organizations to track results in one place and allows MSPs to add security services to their existing portfolio, enabling multi-tenancy with Six-Sigma accuracy, historic trending, and API support.
“Consultants, consulting organizations and managed service providers have been asking us to provide our unique cloud platform and integrated suite of applications in a way that helps them scale their services cost-effectively and provide their customers with a more comprehensive solution, allowing them from a single platform to perform security assessments across on-premises environments, endpoints, and clouds,” said Qualys Chairman and CEO Philippe Courtot. “This is what Qualys Consulting Edition does, and we are proud to bring such a groundbreaking offering to the market, as it brings consultants a modern cloud platform so they can better support clients across their new hybrid infrastructure and cloud applications.”
The offering also addresses issues created by scanning overlapping IPs, and provides out-of-the-box dynamic and fully customizable reporting and trending reports and dashboards. It also includes Qualys Cloud Agent support for real-time vulnerability management. Partners can also offer CertView and CloudView, which enables them to track and monitor all their internet-facing digital certificates and multi-cloud assets at no additional cost.
Qualys Consulting Edition will be available for consultants, consulting organizations and MSPs by the end of the month. Annual subscription pricing begins at $3,995 for unlimited asset packages.

CloudJumper Announces Free Cloud Workspace for MSPs
CloudJumper, a North Carolina-based Workspace as a Service (WaaS) platform vendor has announced a new channel promotion, providing an unlimited number of free NFR licenses of Cloud Workspace Management Suite (CWMS) software within a single tenant Azure deployment.
CWMS automates delivery of hosted Windows desktops, application services, and Microsoft workloads. It is intended to help IT service managers deliver app streaming, VDI, DaaS and WaaS more efficiently. The platform is supported in Azure, Google Compute, AWS, and most private clouds. Cloud Workspace for Azure was first introduced at the Microsoft Inspire 2018 conference. It supports Azure Active Directory Services, allowing for single-sign-on within existing Microsoft Office 365 accounts. In its new release, CloudJumper has decreased the platform footprint to a single server, which is expected to put the suite well within reach of most SMBs. All customers are managed through a simple, single-pane-of-glass interface.
“2018 has been a fantastic year for the WaaS space with significant movement in the category, supported by important technological advances,” said Max Pruger, chief revenue officer for CloudJumper. “The single-tenant version of the software is ideal for helping IT services providers become more familiar with the technology and its potential from a business perspective.”
CloudJumper also enables a smooth migration from third-party platforms as well as existing “unmanaged” RDS deployments with the Cloud Resource App (CRA). CRA audits an existing RDS, Citrix or VMWare Horizon environment then overlays CWMS, allowing for easier management and scalability.
