Aryaka Launches Unified SASE as a Service Offering

Aryaka has rolled out a new offer that combines SASE with a unified single-pass architecture, global private network backbone, and security, observability and application performance capabilities into a single platform delivered as a service.

“Today’s distributed workforces, increased security threats and hybrid application deployments make delivering secure, performant network access to applications and data harder than ever,” said Renuka Nadkarni, Chief Product Officer at Aryaka.

The overall value proposition promises to modernize legacy MPLS networks with high-performance SD-WAN and secure remote access, optimize network security and performance for multicloud applications, and bolster network security.

Elements include Aryaka’s OnePass architecture enabling distributed policy enforcement through a distributed data plane, unified control plane and single management pane; a Zero Trust WAN that traverses Aryaka’s global private network backbone, which operates in more than 100 countries; and comprehensive networking, security, and observability services, including the company’s next-generation firewall (NGFW) with secure web gateway (SWG), anti-malware and intrusion prevention system (IPS). Businesses choose their preferred approach to delivery (Aryaka or third-party) and implementation (managed, co-managed or self-managed).

“As a partner-led company, Aryaka understands that an ‘all or nothing’ approach to SASE is impractical for channel partners to recommend to business clients that already have invested in security solutions,” said Craig Patterson, Senior Vice President of Global Channels for Aryaka. “With Aryaka, partners now have the technology and service platform to help companies evolve their network security at their own pace regardless of their starting point.”

Thrive Launches Security Response & Remediation Services for Cybersecurity Incidents

Thrive, a Boston-based technology outsourcing provider for cybersecurity, cloud, and traditional MSP services, has launched “Thrive Incident Response & Remediation,” an on-demand cybersecurity response service to contain and remove threats, along with engineering assistance to rebuild and restore critical systems. With this solution, customers are connected to a dedicated Incident Responder from the Thrive Security Operations Center (SOC) in the event of a security incident to access the incident’s scope and provide immediate response actions to restore services.

Service components include pre-incident planning in which Thrive security experts engage with subscribed clients to ensure that they have an approved incident response plan, an asset inventory prioritized based on business impact and a backup strategy for critical systems; incident response tools that ensure potential threats are contained faster and provide high-value forensic artifacts; an automated compromise assessment during onboarding to identify current threats that may impact systems; and prioritized incident management through which users can report an incident with a 15-minute response time guaranteed by the Thrive SOC to begin threat assessment and scoping.

“Many business leaders today are facing the daunting task of safeguarding their IT environment amidst an evolving cybersecurity landscape, and need support to ensure they have the tools and experience that will keep their systems and data safe,” said Michael Gray, CTO of Thrive. “Thrive’s Incident Response & Remediation services is the latest extension of that mission so that no matter the threat, our clients have the resources and peace of mind needed to keep their businesses moving forward.”
